Wicked Wednesday

One whole chunk of non-stop hard-core HL periods. One whole meal of fried food. One cramped muscle. Feeling disabled. Wicked Wednesday indeed. And this just the first week...

Bye-bye Tourism Australia

Watched Wolfe Creek with Bren. Chilling thriller which foils all plans of Tourism Australia. Then, horror of horrors (-.-) I began to analyse the movie, the plot, the devices, the filmaker’s techniques, the cinematography, the aural effects, the foreshadowing, the motifs, the impact on viewer…then suddenly my mind changes from English A1, to PHYSICS!!! Horror of horrors, thinking about parabolas, speeding bullets, kinematics, and I even tried to figure out why their watches all stopped. Thankfully, this subsided gradually after the movie ended. By now I’m no longer thinking about English A1. Just physics, and a little chem too. Went to kino, then to taka basement for food. So many students in their uniform today! Should have worn my “uniform” too. What a leisurely March Monday afternoon.

P.S. Ayer's Rock is in the middle of the desert, so ulu rightt. That's why it's called ULUru! -.-

Freedom is slavery?

Squealer took charge today. All the animals toiled, and suffered under the hot sun. But not Squealer. He too was in the heat, but he did less. Why? Because all animals are equal while Squealer is more equal than the rest. And the rest did more for the good of everyone.

Freedom is slavery?

Blistering cold

Monday was disheartening. Thursday was the year 5 mass outing. I suspect they wanted us out of school having fun while they attended a course or something. Anyway it was cool. 5.1 Genesis chose to chill at Jurong. And cold it was. Blistering cold. Literally. Can't wait to be able to actually ice skate properly la X ) The downside though, was that I burned $30 just on Thursday. And $20 the week before. Must learn to be like thrifty queen, go out and chill yet save $$$.
But in general had a rushed week filled with blue hues. Contempt and regret. But time to be practical, face up to reality, drop all dreams. Chinese B here I come >.<

ACS Forever

Finally, a parade from which I am excluded from participation. Rather, I can no longer do so. And I am pleased so = )
Anyway today was fun, watching the parade instead of being in it as usual. After that, went to Citylink Mall...walked about then lunched at Thai Express. Green curry tasted anything but it. Then lots of ACJC girls walked past us...and of cos they noticed the 2 ACSI guys lunching...who'd miss me ; )
Discovered unknown areas of the Esplanade. Will come here next time = )
That's about it. Founder's Day. 120 years of ACS and going strong. ACS Forever = )
