Full Circle

12 months and 69 posts later, cosmic-consequence has come full circle! Mucho gracias for your visitations to experience snippets of my universe. Here's to the next year of 69 posts! Meanwhile, here's Andromeda...
Behold Andromeda's dim aureole of light,
An island universe in yonder sky
Whose rays a million years ago took flight
To reach this very hour my wondering eye.

As you would probably know, not exactly full circle. Precession of equinoxes means that Earth is not exactly in the same position as before, along with changing orbital eccentricity...

And slightly closer to Andromeda....it's a pity we won't be around when Andromedia filsl our skies in a billion years or so, because it will be majestic.

I'm so jealous of ACSI and its astronomy clubs, its philosophy and art areas. I wish I were back. American high schools are the suck.

Yes. Full circle, metaphorically, to give people a sense of time and place. Where were you from? Singapore?
